Bali Scuba Diving

Cheap Bali Flights

Bali Island is the most popular scuba diving destination in Indonesia.

Scuba Diving Underwater In Bali

Bali gives you the opportunity to explore some of the most unique things to see underwater. Indonesia is the home of over a quarter of the fish species found on earth and contains far more the amount of coral reef found at the Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. With over 3000 fish species and 450 species of coral, steep walls, deep water trenches, underwater volcanic mountains, World War II wrecks, and endless diversity of macro life, dive in Indonesia is truly a fascinating experience.

It offers magnificent shore-based scuba diving set against a stunning back drop of huge volcanic peaks and picturesque rice paddy terraces.

Scuba Diving Underwater In Nusa Penida

The scuba sites vary from muck diving at Secret Bay on the north west tip of the island to adrenaline drift diving at Nusa Penida to walls and deep drop offs of Tulamben in the east and even the world class wreck, the Liberty, this island has something for every scuba divers taste!

Scuba Diving Underwater In Lombok

The greatest volume of tidal water on earth flows through The Lombok Strait at the east of the island. The water creates powerful currents and rollercoaster rides that characterize some scuba diving sites. Alas, these sites are recommended for experienced scuba divers only. The strong currents also clean the water and create fantastic visibility. Scuba Diving Underwater In Tulamben

The best season is from April to December with huge and unusual pelagic fish like the mola mola or the elusive sunfish and sharks visiting from June to September. December to March is rainy season, reducing visibility in the north and northwest of Island i.e. Tulamben, Amed, Gili Selang, Pemuteran and Menjangan. The dry monsoon winds from June through September bring rough seas to Nusa Penida, Padang Bay and Amuk Bay.
